NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 2365 (GIBBON, FAIRFAX, AND WINTHROP PUBLIC SCHOOLS) McLeod, Nicollet, Renville and Sibley Counties, MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election has been called and will be held in and for Independent School District No. 2365 (Gibbon, Fairfax, and Winthrop Public Schools), McLeod, Nicollet, Renville and Sibley Counties, Minnesota on November 5, 2019, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. for the purpose to vote on the school district building bond questions (see sample ballot). The combined polling places for this election and the precincts served by those polling places shall be as follows: COMBINED POLLING PLACE – Gibbon Municipal Building, 985 1st Ave, Gibbon, MN: Main Room in Sibley County, Minnesota This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 2365 located in the City of Gibbon; Moltke, Severance, Cornish and Grafton Townships in Sibley County, Minnesota; and West Newton and Lafayette Townships in Nicollet County, Minnesota. COMBINED POLLING PLACE – Fairfax Community Center, 300 Park Street South, Fairfax, MN: North Room in Renville County, Minnesota This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 2365 located in the City of Fairfax; Wellington, Cairo, Bandon and Camp Townships in Renville County, Minnesota; and Ridgely Township in Nicollet County, Minnesota. COMBINED POLLING PLACE – Winthrop Community Hall, 305 North Main Street, Winthrop, MN: Second Floor in Sibley County, Minnesota This combined polling place serves all territory in Independent School District No. 2365 located in the City of Winthrop; Bismarck, Transit, and Alfsborg Townships in Sibley County, Minnesota; Penn and Round Grove Townships in McLeod County, Minnesota; and Bernadotte Township in Nicollet County, Minnesota. Any eligible voter residing in the school district may vote at said election at the polling place designated above for the location in which said voter resides. The polls for said election will be open between 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the date of said election. Please note that this notice applies to School District elections not held in conjunction with statewide elections. Municipal or statewide elections will be held at the polling places previously established for such elections. NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC The Sibley County Auditor-Treasurer will be conducting tests of the precinct tabulating equipment (DS200s) that will be used to count the votes cast for all questions to be voted on at the November 5, 2019 ISD #2365 GFW School District Special Election and tests of the voter assist terminal (AutoMARKs) that will be available as an optional ballot marker to assist voters to vote privately and independently at the November 5, 2019 ISD #2365 GFW School District Special Election. NOTICE TO FUEL SUPPLIERS Sealed bids will be received by the County of Sibley, Minnesota, in the Public Works Office at 111 8th Street PO Box 897, Gaylord, Minnesota 55334-0897 until 1:00 P.M., on October 25, 2019, at which place and time they will be publicly opened by two or more persons who have been designated by the County to open bids. Bids are for the following: The 2020 calendar year supply of Unleaded Gasoline and Diesel Fuel for Sibley County Public Works. Bids shall be itemized by maintenance shop location and product type on the provided fuel bid forms. Approximate 2020 calendar year quantities are as follows: Diesel Fuel 80,000 Gallons Unleaded Gasoline 28,000 Gallons Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Office of Sibley County Public Works or online at Sibley County Website, Public Works, Advertisement for Bids. https://www.co.sibley. mn.us/government/departments/public_works/index.php.
