Following a failed referendum vote in November, the GFW School Board started discussing at its regular November meeting on Monday, how to proceed going forward. Holding another referendum in the future would be a distinct possibility. Superintendent Lonnie Seifert stated that reviewing the contract with R. A. Morton Construction Managers of St. Cloud, the terms are not two tries on a referendum and the contract is done as first thought. Instead if GFW runs another referendum the construction company will again be the guiding force unless the School Board terminate the contract.
