Tessmer reflects on two decades serving Zion Lutheran
For the past two decades, Pastor Paul Tessmer has been serving the congregation of Zion Lutheran Church. This week he will be leaving to take a pastoral position in Michigan. Tessmer and his family came to Winthrop to serve the Zion Lutheran Church parish in June of 1998. He had served at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Omaha, NE, beginning in 1991, before coming to Winthrop. He received his education at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI.
