BISMARCK TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Bismarck Township, Sibley County, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Township Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 7pm at St. Francis Catholic Church, 510 Brown Street North, Winthrop, MN 55396 to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law. BISMARCK TOWNSHIP IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PROPERTY ASSESSMENTS This may affect your 2019 property taxes. The Board of Appeal and Equalization for Bismarck Township will meet on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at the Bismarck Township Treasurer’s home at 22367 591st Avenue, Gibbon, MN 55335. The Purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor. If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county board of appeal and equalization. NOTICE HAY LAND FOR RENT The Sibley County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids at the office of Sibley County Public Works until 4:30 P.M., Thursday, March 26th, 2020 for a two (2) year lease of the following: 1. Hay land at the Clear Lake County Park, described as that part (12.1 acres) of 38.4 acres of Government Lots 1, 2, 3, & 4, Section 36 of Severance Township. 2. Hay land at the Sibley County landfill, on County Road 67, described as part of the SE1/4 of SW ¼ of Section 34 of Dryden Township. 3. Hay land in the NW corner of CSAH 11 and C.R. 111, described as that part of the NE ¼ of NE ¼, Section 24 of Green Isle Township. All bids must be submitted on a proposal form, which is available at the Office of the Sibley County Public Works or online at www.co.sibley.mn.us , search location, Public Works, News & Public Notices.
