T-Birds crush Sleepy Eye, lose shootout at Nicollet

As the regular season wound to a close, the GFW Thunderbird boys basketball team has been hitting its stride, winning five of its last seven games to finish 6-10 in the Tomahawk Conference and 8-16 overall. The regular season ended with GFW posting an 86-54 win over Sleepy Eye at home but losing at Nicollet 99-82.
