Happy Easter to all

It was a beautiful day for a parade on Saturday and the Winthrop emergency services departments brought the Easter Bunny out to say hello to the community. The Winthrop Police Department, Winthrop Ambulance, Winthrop Fire Department and Sibley County Sheriff’s Office participated. The parade route hit almost every street in Winthrop and made stops along the way where youngsters were able to take photos with the Easter Bunny. The parade took about 2 1/2 hour to complete. “We had so much fun doing this and we are were so pleased that everyone enjoyed the day with us,” said Amy Burns. “The people were very grateful, happy and very pleased.  It was so awesome to come upon a group with their signs, drawings and cards for everyone.  The overwhelming support of our community and groups is what makes us Winthrop!  Together, we WILL get through this!”

Love our little Town..People who put on the Parade should be proud. A Big Thank YOU.
With all the things cancelled this year, it was so FUN to see how much the kids & adults alike enjoyed it.
