GFW School Board selects operating levy amount

The GFW School Board moved forward with its operating levy referendum at its May 18 School Board meeting. Ehlers had developed a chart with three options (part of which is shown at the right) that shared what they thought the District needed. Currently GFW has a State allowed levy of $724 per pupil unit. It also collects $302.30 per pupil unit on a 10-years voter approved levy that will run out June 30, 2022. That voter approved portion brings in about $210,000.
