Construction begins in downtown Winthrop

And the construction has begun on a few blocks of downtown Winthrop. The project will replace water, wastewater and sewer lines  in the blocks south of Highway 19 on North Hennepin Street and the first two blocks south of the highway on North Carver Street. Crews from Holtmeier Construction started early last week on Hennepin Street and will continue with Carver Street this summer.
