Gibbon Council takes a wait and see approach to Fill Me Up request

The Gibbon City Council discussed a request from Fill Me Up for a off sale liquor store in Gibbon. The meeting was held last Thursday due to the general election and canvassing votes. The Gibbon business has requested that it be able to remodel the east side of the convenience store, where the old laundry was located. That area does have a separate door There were concerns about the lack of parking and the real need for more groceries in the store. It would also be competing with the two local bars, who also sell off sale.
