Gibbon City Council entertains offer for 1.7 acres of city land

Dave and Terry Theis have expressed interest in purchasing the city land just south of the softball park. That piece of land was part of the Hartmann purchase and had received fill to raise the level of the property even with Eighth Street. Theis asked if the City was willing to sell that 1.7 acres parcel for a single residential home construction.

Councilman Greg Olson stated that he believed the City’s intention was to develop the land for residential property.
