Lafayette Charter School janitor retires

Pat Simon became the custodian at the Lafayette Charter School in August of 2014 after spending 35 years with ISD#88. He just recently retired from LCS in November 2020. “The duties I performed daily were general cleaning and maintenance,” he stated.
He also did special projects like painting the classrooms, restrooms, gymnasium, and hallways in the summertime. He would also check the boiler room and record temperature and pressure which required him to have a special license for, First Class C.
