GFW loses overtime heart breaker in tournament opener

A bid to upset the number three seed Lester Prairie fell just short in overtime for the GFW Thunderbird boys basketball team on Thursday evening. Tied 58-58 at the end of regulation, points would be hard to come by in the extra four minutes of overtime. Lester Prairie struck first to go up 60-58 with 2:32 to play in extra time.
