A St. Paul man was charged with attempted murder in Sibley County District Court on May 12. The charges stem from an early morning November 2 shooting in Winthrop. Keshaun Schelven Coatie, 24 of South St. Paul, is charged with attempted first degree murder. The charge carries a maximum of 20 years in prison. According to the complaint filed in Sibley County District Court, law enforcement responded to a shooting at 309 W. 3rd St. in Winthrop at about 12:18 a.m. on November 2.
