Richard Hinquist

Richard Hinquist, born in the Bernadotte Township, Lafayette Minnesota and raised in Winthrop, died May 2, 2021 in Minneapolis.

Dick loved Winthrop and all the people who lived there. His parents were Ruth and Richard who ran a grocery store. He earned three letters in high school but especially loved baseball and belonged to Town Team.

He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus and went on to have a successful retail career.

Dick is survived by his wife, Mary Hughes. If you wish to make a donation in his name, send it to the Winthrop baseball team.
