Local charged with fifth degree possession of controlled substance

A rural Winthrop man was arrested last week on possession of methamphetamine. James Matthew Pautz, 39, faces one count of felony fifth degree possession of a controlled substance. The charge holds a maximum sentence of five years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine.
