Gibbon Council looks at improvements to East 12th Street

The Gibbon City Council agreed to have a feasibility study completed on part of East 12th Street east to Southview Living Center. The study will provide preliminary designs of the project as well as costs, according project engineer Bryan Petzel of ISG. The cost of the study is $10,850. The City has looked at paving the existing 475 feet of gravel surface street, replacement of an culvert and minor grading to improve drainage. The City also hired American Engineering Testing of Mankato for $2,605 to do two test borings of the gravel street to check the base of street.
