Thunderbirds prevail 40-2 at Homecoming
GFW celebrated Homecoming Friday evening in a big way as the GFW Thunderbird football team defeated Waterville-Elysian-Morristown 40-20. The T-Birds started the game in fine fashion, going 66 yards on nine plays for the first score of the game. An 11-yard rush by Jack Panitzke and a 25-yard scamper by Nick TenEyck got GFW to the WEM 20-yard line. On a third down-and-goal at the 6-yard line, Brody Hentges found Ike Case in the end zone for a score and a 6-0 lead.
