Independent School District GFW Public Schools November 15, 2021 CALL TO ORDER The regular board meeting of the GFW School Board was held on November 15, 2021 at the Elementary School Gibbon, MN. Board Chair Kuehn called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. ALSO present: Superintendent Horton, Principal Thompson, Principal Galetka, Merkel, Prochniak, Schmidt, Tech Werner, District Accountant Burns, Early Education Director Schiro, Press Hanson, Press Jutz, Press Busch, CFO Heine via zoom. Absent: Lee, Haas APPROVE AGENDA Schmidt moved with support from Kuehn to approve the agenda with the removal of the Superintendent Evaluation until the December meeting. Motion Carried. CONSENT AGENDA Kuehn moved with support from Schmidt to approve the following consent agenda. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF RESOLUTIONS AND ACTION ITEMS Bus Drivers Association Master Agreement Kuehn moved with support from Prochniak to approve the Bus Driver Association Master Agreement. Motion Carried. Resolution: Combined Polling Places Prochniak moved with support from Merkel to approve the resolution for Combined Polling Places. Yes – Merkel, Prochniak, Kuehn, Schmidt No – None Motion Carried. Resolution: Donations Kuehn moved with support fromSchmidt to approve a $1000.00 donation from Winthrop Honor Guard for the elementary, $1000.00 from the Winthrop Honor Guard for athletics and $1000.00 from the Mark & Karen Rauenhorst Foundation for scholarships. Yes -Kuehn, Schmidt, Prochniak, Merkel No – None Motion Carried.
