Big things happening with GFW FFA as things get back to normal

by Michael Mattison

After the past two years of events, competitions and conventions being run virtually for the most part, things this year are getting back close to normal for the GFW FFA chapter. Andrew Burns is the current president of the chapter. He is involved in the farm business management team, which qualified for State, and is going to complete in the prepared public speaking contest in March. He was recently elected region president. He takes the position in late March. Ben Beranek is also on the farm business management team as well as the ag mechanics team. He is on the GFW trap shooting team. Jessica Willegal is a member of the general livestock judging team which placed first and as an individual she was third. That team will be going to State. She is also the current vice president.
