City of Lafayette purchases land for the expansion of the city’s water plant

After a lengthly discussion the Lafayette City Council voted 3-1 to purchase a 100-foot by 60-foot lot on the south side of Main Street. A new building will be built to expand on the current water plant’s handling of the hardness of city’s water. The land is owned by Lori Polz and here son Nick Timm.
