Mini Park project in Lafayette starts to take shape

A review of a recent Mini Park meeting showed some initial designs for proposed improvements. The first step is doing the landscaping around the flag pole including paver blocks a back wall, trees and is being promoted by the American Legion. The City is discussing the sidewalk from Main Avenue to the flag pole in the first phase. Future work could include a sidewalk to the community center, with additional landscaping. The work is being handled by Evolve Landscaping of Winthrop. An Eagle Scout project is also being planned.
