Community Spotlight—Winthrop Senior Citizens

It’s been a day that seniors from the community can get together, interact and play cards for many years now. The Winthrop Senior Citizens organization was incorporated on June 26, 1974. The group quickly got to work and purchased a building for a meeting area at 109 E. Second St., on August 8, 1974.
