Joint statement regarding the GFW SRO program

“Representatives from Winthrop, Gibbon, GFW Public Schools and Winthrop Police Department have been and will continue to meet to discuss the funding and contractual obligations for the School Resource Officer program. The different entities are working on maximizing resources for all and ensuring the best possible program for students and our communities.”
