City find use for old Gibbon City Hall

by Doug Hanson

Gibbon firemen spent some time to clean out an area in the basement of the old City Hall and discovered it could be used for storage. It was reported at the Gibbon City Council meeting on October 4th that with some repairs to the exterior doors, the fire department could store items in that area. In the past the fire department had stored old items that were no longer used. It was being looked at as a possible place to store old pull tabs when the departments begin to sell pull tabs. But the size of the area also offers other possibilities.
