Haun is new Winthrop City Clerk

There is a new face sitting behind the desk at city hall and it belongs to Heather Haun. She began her duties as Winthrop City Clerk on October 24. Haun is originally from Lonsdale where she grew up on a dairy farm. She graduated from New Prague High School. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice with a miner in accounting. She worked for McLeod County on two occasions. For five years she was a dispatcher. She then went to Alpha Wireless was a stay-at-home mother and then returned to McLeod County for seven years before coming to Winthrop.
