GFW Board holds work session to discuss facilities
by Doug Hanson
The GFW School Board held a work session on Monday evening to discuss a few items, the main one being the facilities. (At a work session no motions can be made only discussion.) The Board members asked questions about the facilities and gave their opinions on the process. There was also an audience of about 30 people including school staff, four former Board members and parents.
Director Kenneth Briese opened the comments saying he has enjoyed talking to people about GFW and he has been asked why the previous School Board, knowing that three new members were coming on the Board felt “compelled to try to tie the hands of the new Board?”
