Thunderbirds hold off Cougars for conference win

The GFW Thunderbird boys basketball team opened the week with an exciting 78-69 win over Cedar Mountain before dropping a game to New Ulm Cathedral 60-49 and ending the week with a 81-59 loss to Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s.
The T-Birds held a nice lead over Cedar Mountain throughout much of the game before the Cougars came back to take the lead late in the game but GFW would rally back for a nine-point win.
