Locals take second in pool tournament

Just the Tip, sponsored by Tanker Bay, took second place in the 2023 C&N Entertainment Year-End Pool Tournament at the Civic Center in Mankato. They played in the Level 3 Tournament which featured 89 teams. They shot three matches on Friday, four on Saturday and five on Sunday. They lost their first match Sunday, won the next three (one in a shootout) and lost the final match. They were two balls away from victory in the championship match. Front: Luke Holmquist.
