The Lafayette Area Lions and the Lafayette Ambulance Squad are stepping up to help a young family that has traveled through a multiple of medical situations in the past year.
When Brittany and Eli Compton were anticipating the birth of their second child last July, they learned that their unborn child would be born with several health issues.
Baby Levi has had several surgeries since his birth July 20—and will need additional care. With medical bills mounting, the Lions and Ambulance have chosen to do a benefit to help.
The June 23 benefit will include a supper and ice cream social, silent auction, and cash raffle, all at the Lafayette Community Center. Raffle tickets are now being sold by Lions members.
