After teaching drivers education for 44 years, Pat Schreiner is ready to hand over the key to his successor this year.
He has been looking to do this for the past year, asking a number of people about taking over as he wanted to slowly phase out.
“I was hoping to find someone to continue the program for GFW Schools,” Schreiner said. “By having a local program, it’s more convenient for the students and their parents.”
Last August, Ryan Jacobson agreed to take the course work needed to become an instructor. Part of the program required to become certified is having a mentor which Schreiner was happy to do.
