New Gibbon sign keeping community informed of events

by Michael Mattison
When you drive by the Gibbon Community Center you will see the new electronic sign that has been installed. It has been operational now for about a month.
The sign is instrumental in keeping residents of Gibbon and those passing through on what is and will be happening in the town.
Edgar Taggatz said that a power outage occurred during storm in March knocking out power to the town for about four hours and when the power came back on the surge knocked out the old electronic sign.
The first electronic sign in Gibbon was installed in 2007.
