Renewed enthusiasm for splash pad

It has been several years since the idea was first brought before the Winthrop City Council but a new group has gotten together with renewed energy to bring a splash pad to Winthrop City Park.
Katie Gran, Kelsey Odegard, Brianna Pagel and Samantha Kral appeared before the City Council at its regular August meeting to bring the splash pad idea back. They have put in much research which they presented to the Council. They hope to return to the Council this month with a project manager that could answer Council questions.
