by Michael Mattison
It is scary how life can change in just a few seconds. On July 10, a motorcycle accident did just that for the Hector family, Matthew Hector suffered brain trauma in the accident but is recovering well.
A benefit will be held on Saturday for the Hectors. A motorcycle ride has been scheduled with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The group will leave Tanker Bay in downtown Winthrop at 11 a.m. They will make stops at the bars in Gibbon, the Other Place in Hector and Curly’s in New Auburn before returning to Tanker Bay. Following the ride, there will be a live auction and food at The Warehouse. Cost to participate in the ride is $20 per vehicle.
