A day to remember

On Monday, Oct. 16, current and retired members of the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, along with family and friends, came to Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm to honor the life and service of Ted Oman. Cindee Krzmarzick, life and enrichment coordinator at Oak Hills coordinated the breakfast event. Ted was not told that it would be taking place and was surprised to see the current and former patrolmen roll in. There were over 45 people who attended the event including about 15 officers. Krzmarzick is a member of 100 Women Who Care. Each of the 100 women contribute $100 a year. She submitted the idea about Ted and it was approved. They meet twice a year something is chosen at each meeting. Photo contributed
