Denny Sjogren of rural Lafayette removed one item from his bucket list in late summer.
“Going to Sweden was number one on my bucket list, but it took Melessa’s push to get me there. She was the driving force,” Sjogren said. “We managed to sandwich it in at the end of summer.”
Denny, his daughter Melessa Henderson of Minnetonka, and granddaughter Annie spent nine days in Sweden, returning just in time for Annie to start her sophomore year of high school the next day.
The trip was actually something of a “three-legged stool” in that it fulfilled a number of goals.
