NOTICE OF BID
Independent School District No. 2365, Gibbon, Minnesota, is presently soliciting competitive “Prime Contract Bids” for Gibbon, Fairfax, Winthrop Public Schools ISD #2365 New PK-12 School – Electrical Material Only Package. Sealed bids will be received electronically through Building Connected using the following link: https://app.buildingconnected.com/public/5757529c4425ca0a0029307b, free of charge to Contractors. No other agent is authorized to receive bids. Bids will be received until 2:00PM local time, on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at which time they will be publicly tabulated for review, please join us for a Zoom at the following link: https://krausanderson.zoom.us/j/87193798776?pwd=a4wmWuTDp4L2gVgwwQuUn6I9tsyrZO.1
Bidders are also invited to review the results online at https://www.krausanderson.com/subcontractors/bid-tabulations/.
All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after bid receipt without consent of the Owner. Each bidder shall accompany the Bid Form with a bid security as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bids.
This portion of the project involves an Electrical Material Only package for a new PK-12 School.

Pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 13D1, the “Open Meeting Law”, you are hereby notified that the Winthrop City Council has a council meeting on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 7:00 pm, in the City Council Chamber at 305 N. Main Street, Winthrop. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct the public’s business. The Public is welcome to attend this meeting.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Lafayette City Council will conduct the first Truth in Taxation Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the Lafayette Council Chambers at 791 Main Avenue. The purpose of this hearing is to allow public input concerning the City’s budget and financing for the 2024 budget year. Following the public hearing the council will hold a budget workshop.
The Lafayette City Council will conduct the second Truth in Taxation Public Hearing on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. in the Lafayette Council Chambers at 791 Main Avenue. The purpose of this hearing is to allow public input concerning the City’s budget and financing for the 2024 budget year. The Lafayette City Council intends to adopt the 2024 property tax levy and approve the 2024 budget at the regularly scheduled council meeting directly following the hearing.

PUBLIC HEARING
The Lafayette City Council has called for the following Public Hearing set for Monday, December 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM to be held in the Council Chambers located at 791 Main Avenue, Lafayette.
The purpose of this hearing is for the consideration of a variance submitted by L. Kavan for the property at 691 4th Street, Lafayette, for two decorative fence panels over the 3-foot limit on a front yard as required by City Code 151.33 (F).

The purpose for this hearing is for a Conditional Use Permit requested by L Krueger for the property at 520 Pioneer, Lafayette for an outdoor furnace as required by City Code 93.04 Outdoor Furnaces.

CALL TO ORDER
The regular board meeting of the GFW Public School Board was held on October 16, 2023 at the Elementary School Gibbon, MN. Chair Merkel called the meeting to order at 6:06 p.m.
ALSO present: Superintendent Dr. Horton, Stehr, Tech Werner, Schmidt, Press Hanson, Principal Thompson, Principal Jacobson, Briese, Merkel, Student & Community Programs Schiro, CFO Heine via zoom, Legal Council, Josh Devaney via telephone. Grosam entered at 6:23 p.m.
Absent: None
APPROVE AGENDA
Gruenhagen moved with support from Merkel to amend the agenda, with the amendment of #7 to remove “Approval of” from the title of Resolutions & Action Items. Motion Carried.
Briese moved with support from Gruenhagen to approve the agenda as amended Motion Carried.
CONSENT AGENDA
Schmidt moved with support from Grosam to approve the following consent agenda. Motion Carried.
APPROVAL OF RESOLUTIONS AND ACTION ITEM
Resolution: Acceptance of Donations
Gruenhagen moved with support from Stehr to approve a $50.00 donation from Charlotte Hoffman for the band department.

Executive Closed Session
The Open Meeting Law, Minnesota Statute section 13D.05, subdivision 3(b), states that the School Board may close a meeting for the purpose of discussing legal action.
Breise moved with support from Grosam to close the regular board meeting at 6:32 p.m. Motion Carried.
Stehr moved with support from Gruenhagen to open the closed session at 6:37 p.m. Motion Carried.
Gruenhagen moved with support from Stehr to end the close session at 7:26 p.m. Motion Carried.
Schmidt moved with support Stehr from to resume the regular board meeting at 7:26 p.m. Motion Carried.
