Lafayette Lions breakfast to benefit Bob Peterson

by Ruth Klossner
The Lafayette community—under the leadership of the Lafayette Area Lions—is again pulling together to help one of its own.
The Lions’ January 14 Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast will incorporate a benefit for Bob Peterson—husband of Lafayette Mayor Sandie Peterson—as he battles cancer. Peterson was diagnosed with prostate cancer several months ago and is unable to work while taking chemo. While he has VA insurance, it only covers a small portion of his expenses. Disability insurance won’t kick in until May.
