This may affect your 2025 property taxes.
The Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Lafayette in Nicollet County, Minnesota will meet at the Council Chambers, 791 Main Ave. at 6:30 pm on Monday the 8th day of April 2024. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local board of appeal and equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county board of appeal and equalization.

Severance Township Gravel Bid Notice
Notice is hereby given that the Severance Township Board is accepting bids for 2,500 cubic yards of Class 5 gravel. The bid should include the gravel crushing, loading and hauling to Severance Township by August 15, 2024. Bids and a copy of provider’s certificate of liability insurance are to be received at the Treasurer’s Residency by April 5, 2024. All bids received be it rejected or accepted by the Township Board will be answered upon.
