Pavement going down on Second Street

There seems to be light at the end of the tunnel for the Second Street project. A portion of the project got its first taste of blacktop late last week. From Hennepin Street to Main Street, Second Street got its first layer of tar. The straightaway of Second Street was installed rather quickly. The short segments of North Carver Street that connect with Second Street was a little more tedious.
