Thunderbirds win Section title with win over MVL

For the second consecutive year, the GFW Thunderbirds earned their way to a Section 2A championship. This year it came in a 40-21 championship victory over Minnesota Valley Lutheran. The GFW Thunderbird volleyball team hosted a pair of Tomahawk Conference opponents last week with mixed results. On Thursday, the T-Birds knocked off the Wabasso Rabbits in three straight sets 25-14, 25-22 and 25-13.
