GFW’s move-in day delayed

In construction projects, situations come up that can delay the completion of a project. That’s what the GFW School Board was told on Monday at its Committee as a Whole meeting.
A representative from Kaus Anderson stated that due to delays in the electrical portion of the project, the gymnasium may not be completed by the December 19 move in date. The electrical work has taken longer than expected. Plus the gymnasium itself is not enclosed yet with a large window on the east side and a door and smaller windows on the north and west sides that need to be installed yet.
