July 4 tall corn contest winners named

A total of 29 Nicollet and Sibley County corn growers made 31 entries in the annual July 4 Tall Corn Contest, now sponsored by the Nicollet/ Sibley County Corn & Soybean Growers. The contest dates back to 1998 when it originated with the Lafayette Nicollet Ledger. It was sponsored by the newspaper through 2022.
This year’s contest had the most ever entries in its history. Eleven entries were from Sibley County and 20 from Nicollet County.
