On Monday evening the GFW School Board reviewed preliminary information on three possible candidates for its superintendent position. Harold Remme and Ed Waltman, consultants from South Central Service Cooperative, brought the names to the School Board. Remme stated that the position was posted April 21st and ran until May 8th. There were 10 applicants with one applicant withdrawing after taking another superintendent job. All nine of the applicants were males, six from Minnesota and one each from North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
