GFW Board switches senior high to distance learning

For the second time in eight days, the GFW School Board held an emergency meeting to discuss the learning model. The meeting was held on Tuesday evening by zoom. GFW changed their learning model this week.
While the data shows the COVID numbers in the two GFW schools was still in the single cases, the county numbers surrounding are climbing quickly.
The Regional Support Team didn’t recommend any particular model, but they did have a consensus that GFW needed to do something different. The major goal of the Regional Support Team was to thin out GFW numbers, commented Superintendent Jeff Horton.
