Winthrop Council hears phase 2 report on wastewater reuse

Winthrop’s wastewater ponds are nearing capacity. Heartland Corn Products is looking to expand in the future which means the need for more water. Dairy Farmers of America has to look at upgrading its wastewater treatment system. Take all three of these items together and the project that the three entities are looking at may make a lot of sense.
