Sunny day can cause problems for the City of Gibbon

Going green with solar fields collecting sun rays and creating energy has become very popular. But it can also cause problems. The added electricity on sunny days has seemed in some cases to peak the voltage. That has been causing breakers for three phase equipment to flip off. In Gibbon this means that a business such as Metal Cutting, or the GFW School or the city’s water plant can experience a stopping of electricity until someone goes in and flips the breaker back on.
