Gibbon Council move forward with 12th Street project

by Doug Hanson

Engineer Bran Petzel informed the Gibbon City Council that the plans are finalized and specification completed for the East 12th Street Project. At the meeting last Tuesday, Petzel stated that the road will be 33.5 feet wide with a two foot gravel shoulder. The project will pave 475 feet of 12th Street passed Southview Living Center. An expanded turnaround will be added at the east end of the project and some culverts will be replaced to help with the current water problem. There are six different property owners that will be affected.
