The GFW School Board passed its revised 2022 budget on Monday evening at its regular May meeting. Bookkeeper Lindsey Heine reviewed the numbers for the Board showing that revenue was up approximately $440,000 from the original budget. Heine stated that the increase was caused by several factors. First the District was conservative when it budgeted the state aid because it had not been approved yet last spring. The District budget one percent increase and the Legislature settled at 2.4 percent, giving the District an addition $36,000.
