Shooters of Gibbon has new ownership

David Plamann and Markie Johnson are the new owners of Shooters Bar & Grill located on Main Street in Gibbon. Dave opens the bar at 10:00am Monday through Saturday. Markie starts the second shift around 5 p.m. until close at 2 a.m. They will add Sundays during the football season. Since recently taking over ownership of the bar, they haven’t made any major changes. They’ve kept Thursday night poker, Friday meat raffle with the Winthrop Honor Guard, and pool and dart leagues for the winter. Markie included “We’re going to add some karaoke and add some beer pong stuff. We’re going to add some stuff to bring in the younger crowd and keep this bar alive.” They also have plans to add more to their food menu and bring in board games.
