Two dogs were determined to have escaped from a house and attack a Gibbon resident on October 26. Police and an ambulance were called. At the Nov. 15th Gibbon City Council meeting, the dogs were classified as dangerous and had to be removed from the city or destroyed.
Last Tuesday, the Council agreed to hold a public hearing to listen to the dog owners’, Karen Enriquez and Erik Morales, request for a second chance. They thought it was an accident and felt that Bernie Berger must have opened the storm door to let the dog escape.
